How the boat-valuation tool handles the information you enter.

What we collect

When you request a valuation we record the boat details you enter (make, model, year, hours, length, region). If you ask a specialist to follow up, we also collect the name, email, and phone number you provide.

How it's used

Your contact details are shared with the boat dealer operating this tool so they can follow up about your boat with a firm offer. The boat details may be used, in aggregate and without your contact information, to improve valuation accuracy. We don't sell your information.

Your choices

Providing contact details is optional — you can get an estimate without them. To have your information corrected or deleted, email hew@saelix.org and we'll remove it.

Honesty

The estimate is a soft, market-based range — not a formal appraisal or a binding offer. A final value always depends on an in-person inspection.
